Tenuta Fontodi’s Chianti Classico Filetta di Lamole 2018 is a refined red wine, obtained in the terraced vineyards of Lamole, located 600 meters above sea level in the heart of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. Made with pure Sangiovese grapes, grown according to the principles of organic farming on soils rich in marl and alberese. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks, with maceration for at least three weeks. The wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, developing a complex flavor profile with hints of cherry, violet, licorice and sweet spices. in the mouth it is balanced, fresh and savory, with fine tannins and a finish of good persistence.
