Le Macchiole’s Paleo Rosso 2021 is a Tuscan red wine of great character, made exclusively with Cabernet Franc grapes. It has an intense ruby red hue with violet reflections. The nose is distinguished by elegant hints of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and a delicate hint of wood deriving from the aging of 18 months in new barriques. In the mouth it is full-bodied and structured, with velvety tannins and a refined balance between good acidity and aromatic complexity. The 2021 vintage confirms the quality of the Tuscan terroir, characterized by an ideal microclimate that favors optimal ripening of the grapes, enhancing the varietal characteristics of Cabernet Franc. The wine has a good longevity and a finish of good persistence, ideal to accompany rich and tasty dishes.
