The Carillon d’Angélus 2022, the second wine of the prestigious Château Angélus, is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru that stands out for its elegance and good acidity. To the eye it has a bright and lively appearance. The nose opens with intense and precise aromas of fresh red fruits and small black fruits, enriched with delicate floral and spicy hints. In the mouth it shows great good acidity, fine tannins and a persistence that combines tension and aromatic richness, enhancing the structure and balance typical of the 2022 vintage. The aging of 16 months in French oak barrels, 60% new, gives complexity and depth to this refined wine.
