The Château Figeac 1er Grand Cru Classé 2020 by Saint-milion is a refined blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from gravelly soils that enhance elegance and structure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by aging for 18-22 months in French oak barrels (100% new wood), which gives complexity and depth. Intense purple-red in hue, the nose reveals a complex bouquet of black fruits, spices, tobacco and delicate balsamic hints. In the mouth it is powerful and enveloping, with silky tannins and a well-balanced acidity, which accompanies a long and harmonious finish. This highly prestigious wine is ideal for pairing with red meats, game and aged cheeses, and is perfect for long aging.
