The Château La Cabanne 2022 is a Pomerol of great elegance, an authentic expression of the Bordelese terroir. The nose reveals complex hints of red and black fruit, maraschino cherry and delicate nuances of brioche and licorice. In the mouth, the wine is concentrated and sumptuous, with a powerful structure supported by noble tannins. The cherry-colored stuff characteristic of Merlot is accompanied by a fleshy and well-balanced mouthfeel. Ideal to accompany red meats and refined dishes, it promises an interesting evolution in the coming years.

Château La Cabanne

Château La Cabanne, a historic residence in Pomerol since 1952, has its roots in viticulture until the Gallo-Roman era. Belonging to the Jean-Pierre Estager family, the property bears witness to a winemaking tradition deeply rooted in the territory. After a complete renovation in 2011 following a fire, the castle now has state-of-the-art production tools. The 9-hectare vignoble extends on the west side of the Pomerol plateau, on clayey soils characterized by the famous veins of local blue clay. HVE level 3 certified, the domain has been in organic conversion since 2022, testifying to the commitment to sustainability and qualitative excellence.
