Luigi Pira, Barbera d’Alba 2022, Bottle 750 ml

Luigi Pira’s Barbera d’Alba 2022 is a fresh and lively red wine, obtained in the winery located in Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. Made from Barbera grapes grown on calcareous-clayey soils with south-east exposure, this wine expresses the typicality of the grape variety and the territory. The vines are grown following sustainable agricultural practices to preserve the integrity of the environment. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days, followed by aging in steel tanks to maintain the good acidity and fragrance of the fruit. In the glass, it has a brilliant ruby red hue. Intense aromas of cherry, plum and floral hints of violet emerge on the nose. In the mouth it is juicy and harmonious, with a pleasant acidity, soft tannins and a balanced finish, ideal to accompany traditional Piedmontese dishes.
