Elena Walch’s Gewürztraminer 2024, from Alto Adige DOC, has an intense straw yellow hue with golden reflections. The nose expresses aromatic aromas typical of the grape variety, such as hints of rose petals, white flowers and delicate spices, enriched by nuances of exotic fruit and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is rich in finesse, with a creamy structure and a balance between good acidity and fullness, closing with a long and harmonious finish. This still white wine comes from carefully selected Gewürztraminer grapes and fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, aged for several months on the fine lees, which give complexity and softness. The 2024 vintage benefits from the unique terroir of South Tyrol, characterized by calcareous, sandy and porphyry soils, with a microclimate that alternates warm and sunny days with cool mountain evenings, elements that give the wine elegance and distinctive personality.
