The Barolo 2020 from the Massolino winery is a wine that expresses the characteristics of the Langhe terroir with elegance and complexity. It has a bright and intense garnet red hue. On the nose, it expresses a rich and fascinating bouquet, with hints of ripe berries, cherry, rose petals, sweet spices, licorice and tobacco. In the mouth, it is structured and harmonious, with velvety and well-integrated tannins and a lively acidity that gives good acidity and persistence. Vinification involves a long maceration on the skins and fermentation in stainless steel, followed by an aging of about 30 months in large oak barrels, which helps to develop depth and aromatic complexity
