Giacomo Conterno, Barolo Arione 2017, Magnum 1500 ml

This Barolo was born in the Arione cru of Serralunga d’Alba, in the Piedmontese Langhe. The Nebbiolo grapes are grown with environmentally friendly methods, following the principles of integrated pest management. Vinification involves a traditional fermentation with prolonged maceration on the skins, followed by an aging of 48 months in large oak barrels, which gives the wine depth and complexity. In the glass, it has a bright garnet red hue. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and light balsamic hints emerge. In the mouth, it is refined and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a long taste persistence.
