Bartolo Mascarello’s Barolo 2014 is a red wine of great personality, obtained in the historic winery located in Barolo, Piedmont. This traditional Barolo reflects the essence of the Langhe terroir. The Nebbiolo grapes come from the prestigious Cannubi, San Lorenzo, Rué and Rocche dell’Annunziata vineyards, cultivated with environmentally friendly methods. The vinification follows traditional practices, with fermentation in concrete tanks and an aging of 32 months in large oak barrels, giving the wine elegance and complexity. Hints of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and withered flowers are perceived on the nose. In the mouth, the wine is fresh and slender, supported by fine and velvety tannins, with a long persistence.
