Louis Roederer’s Cristal 2016 is a vintage Champagne that combines power and finesse. Composed of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it comes from Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. Vinification involves partial fermentation in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, followed by aging on the lees for about 6 years. The wine has a bright straw hue and expresses a broad and rich bouquet of candied fruit, white flowers and toasted dried fruit on the nose. in the mouth it is round and decisive, with a juicy and full-bodied structure, but at the same time soft and creamy, supported by a good lively acidity that gives harmony and longevity.
