The blended Champagne Brut, Collection 245 represents the 245th blend of the historic maison founded in 1776 in Reims. Composed of 55% wines from the 2020 harvest, the remaining 45% is divided between 35% Réserve Perpétuelle and 10% reserve wines aged in wood, from previous vintages. The grapes used are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The vinification involves aging for about 48 months on the lees, giving the wine complexity and depth. On the nose there are aromas of ripe yellow fruit, concentrated citrus fruits, almond and smoky hints. in the mouth it is balanced, with a pleasant good acidity and a finish of good persistence. Collection 245 embodies the balance between tradition and innovation, offering a Champagne of great elegance and structure.
