Louis Roederer’s Cristal Brut 2000 is a vintage Champagne of rare refinement, coming from the Maison located in Reims, in French Champagne. obtained with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the grapes come from Grand Cru vineyards cultivated on calcareous soils, following biodynamic methods. Vinification includes fermentation partly in oak barrels, with aging on the lees for over 6 years. To the eye, it has a bright golden hue and a very fine perlage. The nose reveals complex aromas of dried fruit, candied citrus fruits, honey and delicate hints of pastry. In the mouth it is ample and creamy, with a lively acidity and minerality that give balance and a long persistence.
