Poggio di Sotto’s Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a red wine of great prestige, obtained in the heart of Tuscany. Sangiovese grapes are grown on vineyards located at an altitude of 200 to 400 meters, on soils rich in marl and alberese. The harvest is manual and takes place when perfectly ripe. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in wooden vats, with prolonged maceration to facilitate the extraction of aromatic compounds. Aging includes 48 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a further period in the bottle. Complex aromas of red fruit, cherry, floral hints and spices are perceived on the nose. in the mouth it is refined, with silky tannins, balanced and with a long persistence, which reflects the typicality of the Montalcino territory.
