Franz Haas’ Manna 2022, obtained in South Tyrol, is a unique blend of Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc, reflecting the producer’s eclecticism and innovation. The grapes come from vineyards located between 350 and 800 meters above sea level, on sandy and porphyry soils. Each variety is vinified separately: fermentation in steel for Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, barrique for Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer, and aging on the lees to add complexity. The bouquet is complex and enveloping, with aromas of exotic fruit, citrus fruits, wildflowers and light mineral hints. in the mouth it is harmonious and silky, with a good lively acidity and a long persistence. Excellent with fish dishes, white meats and fusion cuisine.
