Langhe “Darmagi” 2019 – Gaja The name means “what a pity” (referring to the uprooting of Nebbiolo to make room for Cabernet), but the wine is a triumph. Impenetrable ruby, it smells of green pepper, berries, graphite and balms. In the mouth it is powerful, with very fine tannins and an extraordinary persistence.
