Sfursat di Valtellina “Fruttaio Ca’ Rizzieri” 2019 – Aldo Rainoldi A giant of Valtellina, son of Nebbiolo grapes (Chiavennasca) harvested on the Rhaetian slopes and left to dry at 500 meters above sea level in the Ca’ Rizzieri drying room. The natural drying concentrates sugars and aromas, while the 20-month aging in oak sculpts the structure. The nose is a journey through black cherry in alcohol, cinchona, tobacco and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is powerful and enveloping, with noble tannins and an infinite persistence.
