Vie di Romans Chardonnay 2023 – Vie di Romans Hailing from Mariano del Friuli, this 2023 Chardonnay avoids malolactic fermentation to preserve tension, while aging in barriques on the lees. The nose is elegant: summer flowers, acacia honey and sweet spices (cinnamon) blend with notes of pear. On the palate, the balance is masterful: full body, buttery notes and a lively freshness that accompanies the persistent finish.
