Produced by the Chavy-Chouet winery in the Puligny-Montrachet area, in Burgundy, this Premier Cru wine is made solely from Chardonnay grapes grown in the “Les Champs Gain” cru. This vineyard is located right above the Premier Cru “Les Folatières” and its vines are an average of 36 years old. The winemaking process includes an 11-month aging in wooden barrels, with a percentage of 25-30% new barrels, followed by a further 7-month period in stainless steel containers. In the glass, the wine reveals a pale straw yellow hue. On the nose, toasted nuances emerge that combine with delicate floral fragrances, giving the wine an air of elegance and a distinctive mineral note. On the palate, it is appreciated for its subtlety and harmony, showing a fine texture and an aftertaste that lasts over time.
