Montevertine’s Le Pergole Torte 2022 is a Tuscan red wine of great character, made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. It has a bright ruby red hue with garnet reflections, which anticipate a complex and refined olfactory profile, characterized by hints of red fruit, earth, spices and hints of leather. in the mouth it shows a structured but balanced body, with velvety tannins and a good fine acidity that guarantees a long persistence. Aging takes place first in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months, followed by a further period of 12 months in barrique, ending with 6 months in the bottle, giving the wine a refined aromatic depth and a good gustatory harmony.
