Candido’s Duca d’Aragona 2020 is an Apulian red wine of great character, made from Negroamaro and Montepulciano grapes. In the glass it presents itself with an intense and deep tone. The nose expresses a broad and complex bouquet, with hints of roasted coffee, tobacco, leather and balsamic hints deriving from aging in wood. In the mouth it is warm, austere and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a finish of good persistence that enhances the robust structure of the wine. Perfect in combination with red meats, game and aged cheeses, it is an excellence of Salento 2020, an authentic expression of the territory and the winemaking tradition of Candido.
