Between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, the Domaine Chavy-Chouet represents one of the most interesting interpretations of contemporary Burgundy. Born from the union of two historic families of the area, the domaine has been led since 2006 by Romaric Chavy, who manages about 15 hectares of vineyards with a vision based on precision, respect for the terroir and the search for elegance.
The work in the vineyard is extremely accurate and involves numerous steps during the year to follow each parcel in detail. On the agronomic level, only copper and sulfur are used, while in the cellar the vinifications are marked by the utmost delicacy. Thanks to over 800 square meters of quarries and gravity handling, each intervention is aimed at preserving the purity, balance and identity of the fruit.
Chavy-Chouet’s style is recognizable for its consistency and sophistication. Whites express mineral energy, tension and depth, supported by a structure that favors their evolution over time. The reds, on the other hand, focus on finesse, aromatic precision and verticality, interpreting Pinot Noir with elegance and measure.
Choosing the wines of Domaine Chavy-Chouet means discovering an authentic Burgundy, capable of enhancing some of the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Beaune through wines of great balance, personality and longevity.
