Poderi Aldo Conterno’s Barolo Bussia Colonnello 2019 is a red wine of great balance and elegance, made with carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes from the renowned “Colonnello” cru located within Bussia, in Monforte d’Alba. It stands out for its intense garnet red hue with orange reflections. The nose offers a refined and concentrated bouquet, with hints of currant, raspberry, cherries in alcohol, berries, accompanied by nuances of spices, licorice and coffee. In the mouth it is warm, intense and enveloping, with round and soft tannins, great structure and persistence, typical of a great vintage like 2019. This Barolo goes perfectly with roasted or stewed red meats, game and mature cheeses.
