Syrah “Collezione De Marchi” 2000 – Isole e Olena Born on clayey-arenaceous soils of Chianti Classico, this Syrah ages 12 months in barriques (20% new) and 3 years in bottle. It smells of black fruits, plums, black tea, leather and pink pepper. On the palate it is soft and structured, with integrated tannins and a lingering finish. Ideal companion to game, red meats and aged cheeses.
