The Meursault Blanc Clos des Corvées de Citeau Monopole 2023 by Chavy-Chouet is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes, from the exclusive “Clos des Corvées de Citeau” vineyard, a real “monopole” located in the center of Meursault. The vines, with an average age of about 70 years, thrive on clayey soils that give the wine a velvety texture. Vinification and maturation take place in French oak barrels, with the use of 20% virgin wood, for a duration of 12 months. The wine is distinguished by a bright straw yellow color; On the nose, hints of lychee, flint, acacia nectar, sweet spicy aromas and dehydrated fruit emerge. The taste is articulated, savory, with a silky entrance and a long-lasting finish.
