Armand Rousseau’s Gevrey-Chambertin Clos du Château 2019, obtained in the renowned winery of Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, is a pure Pinot Noir from a 1.17-hectare clos monopole located next to the village castle. The grapes, grown with biodynamic methods, are vinified with fermentation in steel and aging in oak barrels. The wine has a brilliant ruby red hue and expresses aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, undergrowth and light spicy hints on the nose. in the mouth it is refined and harmonious, with good lively acidity, silky tannins and a long persistence, representing a refined and accessible expression of the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir.
