Founded in the early twentieth century in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the beating heart of the Côte de Nuits, the Domaine Armand Rousseau represents one of the greatest expressions of Burgundy winemaking. It was Armand Rousseau, driven by a pioneering vision and a visceral love for Pinot Noir, who transformed this estate into a symbol of world excellence. Today, under the meticulous guidance of the Rousseau family, the winery holds 15 hectares of vineyards, many of which are located in historic Grand Crus such as Chambertin, Clos de Bèze and Clos Saint Jacques. The hilly landscape, the clayey-limestone soil and the unique microclimate give the wines a timeless elegance and complexity. Each bottle is a silent ode to purity, balance and the noblest craftsmanship.
