Bruno Giacosa, Barolo Falletto Vigna Le Rocche 2019, Bottle 750 ml

Obtained from the famous Bruno Giacosa winery, this Barolo is an oenological masterpiece from the prestigious Falletto vineyard, located in the Le Rocche sub-area, in Serralunga d’Alba. Nebbiolo, grown on calcareous and clay-rich soils, is harvested by hand and vinified in steel tanks with fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in large oak barrels for 36 months, followed by a further months of rest in the bottle. The result is a wine of extraordinary complexity and elegance: intense aromas of ripe red fruit, withered rose petals, sweet spices and a subtle balsamic note emerge on the nose. In the mouth it is refined and structured, with a perfect balance between good acidity, flavor and tannic power, culminating in a long, mineral finish with good persistence.
