75 lt Standard bottle
Bruno GiacosaYear 2017Type Rosso
Bruno Giacosa’s Barolo Riserva “Vigna Le Rocche” 2017 by Falletto is a red wine of great prestige, obtained in the Le Rocche del Falletto vineyard, located in the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. The Nebbiolo grapes come from older vines, grown on calcareous soils with south-east exposure. Vinification follows traditional methods, with fermentation in steel and a long maceration on the skins. Aging involves a period of at least 36 months in large-capacity oak barrels, followed by prolonged aging in the bottle. The nose expresses a complex bouquet with hints of ripe red fruit, spices, licorice, leather and nuances of truffle. in the mouth it is powerful and structured, with velvety tannins and a long finish with good persistence.
