Ca’ del Bosco’s Curtefranca Bianco represents one of the most elegant and recognizable interpretations of Franciacorta in a still version. Born from the vision of Maurizio Zanella and the continuous qualitative research of the Erbusco winery, this white tells the most refined side of the territory through a precise, modern style deeply linked to the vocation of its vineyards.
The 2016 vintage, balanced and particularly favorable in Franciacorta, made it possible to obtain healthy grapes rich in aromatic tension, giving life to a wine of great harmony and expressiveness. The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc comes from vineyards cultivated between Erbusco, Cazzago San Martino and Passirano, on morainic soils capable of giving freshness and flavor. After a careful manual selection of the grapes, part of the fermentation takes place in small oak barrels and part in steel, with aging on the lees that helps to expand structure and complexity.
The nose opens with notes of white peach, ripe citrus and tropical fruit, accompanied by floral nuances, light sweet spices and mineral hints. The sip is enveloping but dynamic, fresh and savory, with a long and balanced finish that invites you to taste it again. Perfect with fish dishes, shellfish and Mediterranean cuisine, it also manages to stand out as a white wine for the whole meal with great personality.
