Artas 2020 – Castello Monaci A pure Primitivo that comes from the lands of Salice Salentino, the beating heart of Salento. The grapes, harvested by hand, are vinified with an initial cold maceration to preserve the fruit. The aging of 14 months in French oak barrels sculpts a wine with a deep ruby color. The nose is an embrace of sweet spices, vanilla, plum and black cherry. In the mouth the important structure is tamed by velvety tannins, closing with a long and soft finish.
