Obtained from the iconic Château Latour, located in Pauillac in the Bordeaux region, this Premier Grand Cru Classé 2015 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small percentage of Petit Verdot. The vines are grown on gravelly soils that promote excellent drainage. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels. In the glass, the wine has an intense ruby red hue. On the nose, it expresses complex aromas of ripe black fruits, hints of cedar, tobacco and a touch of graphite. In the mouth, it is structured and powerful, with silky tannins and a long finish with good persistence. Ideal in combination with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
