Chavy-Chouet’s Meursault Les Genevrières Premier Cru 2022 is an excellent expression of white wine, originating from the famous Burgundy area of France. This wine is the result of the cultivation of Chardonnay grapes in the renowned “Les Genevrières” vineyard, a terroir characterized by calcareous and clayey soils that give the wine a marked minerality and considerable complexity. The winemaking process includes fermentation in oak barrels, followed by a period of maturation on the lees lasting approximately 12 months. During this period, a regular bâtonnage is carried out to enhance the fullness and gustatory richness of the wine. On the nose, there are refined nuances of white fruit, citrus and subtle aromas of vanilla and hazelnut. On the palate, the wine is balanced, with vibrant acidity and a long-lasting mineral finish.
