The Brunello di Montalcino 2019 by Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona is a red wine of great elegance, obtained in the heart of Montalcino, Tuscany. Obtained from pure Sangiovese grapes, grown on medium-textured soils with the presence of marl, located between 240 and 360 meters above sea level. Vinification involves fermentation in steel and cement, with maceration on the skins for about 20-25 days. The wine then matures for over 2 years in Slavonian oak barrels and further ages in the bottle for at least 8 months. On the nose, it has intense aromas of ripe red fruits, floral hints of violet, and spicy hints of black pepper and dark spices, with balsamic and undergrowth hints. In the mouth, it is refined and structured, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious finish. It goes perfectly with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
