Cusumano, Etna Rosso Alta Mora 2022, Bottle 750 ml

The Cusumano Etna Rosso Alta Mora 2022 is a red wine of great character made entirely from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the slopes of the Etna volcano, in Sicily. The wine has an intense ruby red hue and expresses a complex aromatic profile where hints of violet, blackcurrant and sweet spices emerge. In the mouth it stands out for a refined structure, well-integrated tannins and a marked minerality typical of the volcanic territory, which gives good acidity and harmony. The 2022 vintage, harvested by hand in the second ten days of October, benefited from careful vinification with malolactic fermentation in steel and aging in large 25-hectoliter wooden barrels, which enhance the territorial character without overlapping an excessive wood footprint. An ideal wine to accompany aged cheeses and grilled red meats, best expressing the complexity and elegance of Nerello Mascalese in the Etna area.
