Donnafugata’s Rosa Dolce&Gabbana 2024 is a refined Sicilian rosé wine made from Nerello Mascalese and Nocera grapes grown on the fertile volcanic soils of Mount Etna. Of a refined bright pale pink, it opens to the nose with a broad and delicate bouquet that combines floral hints of jasmine and rose petals with fruity hints of currant, white peach and bergamot. In the mouth it stands out for its good acidity, minerality and persistence, with a harmonious return of red fruits and a balanced structure. The vinification involves cold maceration and aging for at least five months between steel and bottle, which enhance the finesse and aromatic complexity of this rosé, perfect to accompany aperitifs, raw fish, vegetarian dishes and delicate white meats.
