Franz Haas, Lagrein 2022, Bottle 750 ml

Lagrein 2022 – Franz Haas South Tyrolean red from native grapes grown on warm, gravelly alluvial soils (220-250 m). The processing is careful: fermentation in open vats with delicate punching down to preserve the quality of the tannins, followed by 15 months in barriques. The color is a deep ruby, sometimes purplish. It smells intensely of red fruits, violets and spiced cocoa. On the palate, it impresses with its velvety structure, round elegance and aromatic richness.
