Giacomo Conterno’s Barolo Arione 2018 is a wine of great complexity and depth, made with Nebbiolo grapes from the Arione cru in Serralunga d’Alba. It has an intense garnet hue. On the nose, it expresses a rich bouquet of red fruit, mint, sweet spices and balsamic hints. In the mouth, it is refined and structured, with firm tannins and a long persistence. Aged for 48 months in large oak barrels, this Barolo has great aging potential and goes perfectly with red meat dishes and aged cheeses
