Hélène Charbaut’s Crayère Extra Brut 1er Cru 2021 is a refined and mineral Champagne, made exclusively with Chardonnay from historic vineyards in Bisseuil. The nose opens with elegant hints of citrus, white flowers and a subtle mineral tension deriving from the clayey-limestone terroir. In the mouth it stands out for its good vibrant acidity, creamy texture and a clean finish, enhanced by the aging of 9 months in oak barrels. A pure and sophisticated expression of the Montagne de Reims, signed by a young producer who combines tradition and parcellair winemaking.

Hélène, after experiences in Burgundy, has introduced innovations such as winemaking in small parcels and the use of fermentation in wood, maintaining a strong link with the local tradition and the unique microclimate of her vineyards.
