Marchesi Antinori’s Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne 2020 has an intense ruby red hue. The nose is characterized by a fragrant and fresh bouquet, with hints of blood orange, plum, vanilla and balsamic hints that blend harmoniously. in the mouth it is vibrant and refined, with tasty tannins and a good marked acidity that supports its long persistence. The finish is complex, dominated by fruity, spicy and vanilla aromas, an expression of the long maturation in oak barrels. This vintage was favorably influenced by optimal climatic conditions, with balanced temperatures that guaranteed the perfect ripening of the Sangiovese grapes, grown on calcareous-clayey soils on the Pian delle Vigne estate in Montalcino. A refined and structured wine, which represents the personal interpretation of the Brunello tradition by the historic Antinori family.
