Giuseppe Quintarelli’s Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2015 is a red wine of great prestige obtained in Valpolicella, Veneto. This Amarone is made from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and other native varieties, selected by hand and subjected to the traditional drying process for about 120 days. The vinification involves a long fermentation and aging in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 7 years, which gives the wine an extraordinary complexity and depth. On the nose, intense hints of cherry in alcohol, plum, sweet spices and hints of tobacco emerge. In the mouth, it is sumptuous and enveloping, with soft tannins and a remarkable persistence.
