Russo & Longo, Jachello 2023, Bottle 750 ml

Jachello is a Calabrian red wine of great character, obtained from Gaglioppo, Greco Nero and Sangiovese grapes grown in Strongoli on clayey soils. A harmonious and spicy aroma emerges on the nose with hints of berries, ripe fruit and cocoa. In the mouth it is soft and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish with good persistence. Aged in small oak barrels, it is a refined and complex expression of Calabrian viticulture, ideal with important dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.
