San Marzano Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni Old Vines 2018 is an iconic red wine from Puglia, vinified from Primitivo grapes grown on old saplings. To the eye it has an intense ruby red hue, tending to garnet with aging. On the nose there are aromas of ripe black fruits, plum, cherry, with spicy hints of black pepper and licorice, enriched with hints of vanilla and cocoa. In the mouth it is warm, soft, with great structure and persistence, with well-polished tannins and a pleasant acidity that enhances its balance. A full-bodied wine, ideal to accompany red meats and aged cheeses.
