The Kerrias 2008 from Tenuta del Priore is a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC that stands out for its intense ruby red hue with garnet reflections due to aging. The nose expresses a complex bouquet with fruity hints of ripe cherry and plum, accompanied by delicate spicy hints and slight hints of vanilla deriving from the aging in barrique. In the mouth it is soft and refined, with velvety tannins well integrated and a structured body that enhances its persistence. The producer, attentive to the enhancement of the Abruzzo territory, cultivates the grapes on calcareous soils at about 300 meters above sea level, obtaining balanced and characteristic wines of the 2008 vintage, which is characterized by a good ripening of the grapes and a favorable climate for the production of quality wines.
