Massetino 2022 comes from one of Bolgheri’s most prestigious terroirs, worked with the same rigor and attention as the famous Masseto. After manual harvesting and a meticulous selection of grapes, the wine ferments in cement and steel vats, and then ages in barriques for about a year. The hue is a deep and compact ruby red. The bouquet is intense and rich, with hints of blackberry, black cherry, licorice, spices and a refined balsamic background. In the mouth it is structured and soft, with velvety tannins, great balance and a long finish that reveals depth and evolutionary potential. A perfect introduction to the philosophy of Tenuta Masseto.
