Tenuta San Guido, Bolgheri Sassicaia 1997, Bottle 750 ml

The 1997 Sassicaia is a red wine of great elegance and complexity, obtained from Tenuta San Guido. It has an intense and deep ruby hue, with garnet reflections. Hints of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and tobacco are perceived on the nose. In the mouth it is enveloping, with soft tannins and a pleasant good acidity. It is a wine of great structure and persistence, which lends itself to long aging in the bottle.
