Tenuta San Guido, Bolgheri Sassicaia 2021, Bottle 750 ml

The 2021 vintage benefited from perfect weather, with a hot and dry summer that favored optimal ripening of the grapes. This great Tuscan red, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, ferments in steel and ages for 24 months in French oak barrels. The nose expresses itself with intense aromas of black fruit, accompanied by balsamic hints, tobacco, spicy hints and mineral nuances. In the mouth it presents itself with great structure, elegance and a perfect balance, thanks to ripe tannins and a good acidity that promises a long aging potential. The finish is of good persistence, with fruity and spicy echoes.
