Tenuta San Guido’s Bolgheri Sassicaia 2022, obtained in the Bolgheri winery, Tuscany, is a red wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) grown on soils rich in limestone, clay and sand. Vinification involves fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for about 10 days, followed by 24 months of aging in French oak barrels and a further period in the bottle. The wine has an intense ruby red hue and expresses complex aromas of red fruits, graphite and Mediterranean scrub on the nose. in the mouth it is refined, structured and with good persistence, representing an icon of Italian wine and a point of reference among the Supertuscans.
