Tenuta San Guido, Guidalberto 2023, Bottle 750 ml

Tenuta San Guido’s Guidalberto 2023, obtained in the winery in Bolgheri, Tuscany, is a red wine made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%) grown on calcareous, clayey and sandy soils. Vinification involves maceration of about 10 days for Merlot and 11-14 days for Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by aging for 15 months in French and, to a small extent, American oak barrels. The wine has a brilliant ruby red hue and expresses hints of berries, coffee and Mediterranean scrub on the nose. In the mouth it is full, powerful, with lively tannins and a long finish, representing a refined and enveloping expression of the Tuscan red.
