Tenute Rubino presents Susumaniello Torre Testa 2003, an emblematic red wine of Salento and leader of the project dedicated to this native grape variety. In the glass it shows a dark and intense red, violet reflections and a refined, ethereal and complex bouquet, where hints of black cherry, plum in alcohol, currant, blackberry and delicate hints of chocolate, juniper, nutmeg, licorice and cinnamon stand out. In the mouth it is warm, intense, with good body, lively good acidity, fine and vigorous tannins, with a remarkable persistence. A wine with great personality, perfect to accompany structured dishes such as pappardelle with meat sauce, grilled meat or stewed game.
